HOW THE COUNTS WORK
Historical milestones, not just current records
Each time an athlete establishes a first valid timed performance for an event/course, or later improves that time, it contributes to the PB progression. National Record counts follow known NR performances and later improvements to an established national benchmark. An athlete can therefore have several historical PBs or NRs in the same event even though only the fastest current performance appears in the main tables.
Age is the athlete's completed age on the date of the performance and is calculated automatically from the recorded date of birth.
